MOVING THE CAMERA IN 3D

The basic controls in Enigmo 2 are the same as in the original Enigmo: just touch a part to select it, then drag to move it, or drag on the selection ring to rotate it. The same goes for moving the camera: drag on the screen to pan the camera, and pinch to zoom in/out.

However, in Enigmo 2 things get more complicated once the levels go 3D. On the 3D levels the camera also has to rotate around the scene, and the puzzle pieces need to be able to be moved and rotated on 3 axes: up, down, right, left, front and back.

MOVING THE CAMERA IN 3D

You use a one-finger drag to pan the camera left, right, up down. You pinch the screen to zoom the camera in and out. But to rotate the camera around the scene you have to drag with TWO fingers. You do the two-finger drag sideways to spin the camera around to the sides of the scene, and you do the two-finger drag vertically to raise and lower the camera.

When the camera moves in 3D like this, it rotates around a point. You set that swivel point simply by touching anything in the scene. So, if you select a puzzle piece, that now becomes the center of rotation and the camera will swivel around it. Similarly, you can touch any part of the Enigmo mechanism in the scene and it will flash red to indicate it is now the center of rotation.
