Ok, there are a zillion other threads on this issue, so I figured I'd put this sticky topic up top to make sure everyone knows what to do.  If you installed iOS 6 and cannot get Game Center to give you an auto-match, then follow this procedure which seems to work for most people:

• Log out of Game Center by launching the Game Center app, selecting your Account, and logging out.
  
• Then reboot your device by holding down the Power button for ~10 seconds until it shuts down.
  

If that doesn't fix it then delete the game and reinstall from the App Store.  Some combination of all of that should fix it.

So, Pilot friended me and we played.  He was being eliminated with 1 shot, it was great!  However, we exchanged some emails and I asked him if he had a jailbroken phone and if he'd installed any cheats.  He claimed that a long time ago with an older version he did, but that he didn't have any cheats installed currently... yeah right.

I told him that lots of people had reported him, and he needed to delete the version that he has and download the new one without patching it.  Then he'd be good to go.

So, I've provisionally removed him from the ban list, but if you continue to see him doing anything bad please let me know and I'll re-ban him.

Lots of other threads on this, but the bottom line is:  I don't know because it works fine for me.  It seems that iOS 6 broke Game Center for some people, but I have no idea why.  For others, it works just like before.  I can get 4-way matches almost immediately every time while others can't get anything.

I suspect one of 3 things:

1.  Somehow the sandbox is being turned on so you're not logged into the live Game Center server.  If that's the case then log out of Game Center and log back in.  If it says "sandbox" anywhere then there's still a problem.

2.  Something is weird with the parental controls, so check our FAQ: http://www.pangeasoft.net/iphone/airwings/help/faq.html

3.  Certain public WiFi networks have always been a problem for Game Center.  Most shopping malls, for example, block Game Center so you'll never get a connection.  I suppose something in Game Center on iOS 6 changed which made this even worse.  If you're on a public WiFi, get off of it.  If you're on a private WiFi then check your firewall settings to be sure you're not blocking anything.

The problem with final ark is that he isn't even running the game. He is using some other app to hack game center.
