Air Wings / Suspected Kite non-updated Cheaters

I personally would be flattered if someone accused me if not updating the kite, since i am updated.  i consider not updating and then flying the kite to be cheating. 

Here's my first candidate: "kou"

This is the young Asian person looking down whose name used to be some Japanese word.

Played him in the basement and was shooting the hell out of him with little effect.

I wish there was a way to tell the difference physically between updated and non-updated. Maybe the kite could be subtly altered with the next update so cheaters would be exposed.

Air Wings / Luther's Bombing Style (Aka, "Drop and Plop")

Luther,
This topic is dedicated to you due to my admiration of the way you so expertly use the bombs.

What's your approach with the bombs when your opponent is flying high?  Do you pulse the wind button as you drop or when you plop? I'll understand if you don't want to give away trade secrets.

Quick observations on my practicing with your "Drop and Plop" method that I'm trying to mimic:

1. Half the time I do more damage to myself than I do to my opponent.
2. When it works, it is the sweetest thing on earth. Seeing the other guy's health almost magically erased.
3. When successful it seems like I don't even see the bombs. Typically with my amateurish bomb flinging I'd see the bombs floating or zinging towards the other guy.
4. It seems to work best when you bounce the bombs off the ground against a low flying opponent.

It'd be great if Luther or anyone else has something to add.

Air Wings / Start position a function of ranking?

Anyone know how the game determines where you spawn? I almost never spawn near the firecrackers in play time, for example. I also almost never spawn near the pencils in Fortress. It seems to be a function of rank, but sometimes that doesn't hold up.

I was also wondering if there's a way to check the leader boards outside of the game, like on the web?
