I'm really diggin' the Quadrocopter so far! It definitely takes a little getting used to, but the hover ability is quite rad.
It's great for small areas...once loaded up on ammo, just rotate and shoot!
I think it's a nice addition to the fleet!

Wow!!  Thought next to me and a few others you'd be about the last person to ever even consider switching from the tiburon, Luther!!!  I think the quadro will be impossible to use in the maze unless some more silver wind coins are added.  Right now there's just one of them on a far side of the room.  Also would like to see how people get around with it in the sandbox (and loop) . . . getting through the cinder blocks to the weapons.

The only things you have to compensate for is, it's quite large, and when you run out of wind, you're stuck in place for a bit, but there are trade-offs with all the aircraft.
I'm still crashing a lot, until I get better with it. ;)

Quadro seems way too hard to hit for how little damage it takes when hit.  After flying it and fighting it, seems to me that if you move it just a little the pencils just miss it way too easily.  The weapons don't seem to track it AT ALL the same way they do the other, regular winged planes for some reason.  It's good for hanging out near a spot with health and some weapons, in particular, but I've always felt that people who do that are exhibiting very poor sportsmanship.  I've been seeing that sort of behavior in the Loop and Lights Out lately with a few people who shall remain nameless.  They fly in circles with a balsa from the pencils in some bricks in the Loop back to the center health, and do the same thing in a corner in Lights Out by the firecrackers and suction cups.

IDK, I'll keep watching, but more and more it seems to me that the quadro, although it has it's drawbacks, is just waaayyyy too hard to hit and/or damage and take down for it's huge benefits of holding a lot of weapons, hovering there above the weapons/health and taking them as they reappear.  It's cool, but boring to fly, too, like the bomber.  The only fun in it is knowing you can just move a little bit and incoming pencils, etc., won't track and hit you.

Tomwoods, man I just love it and the change, I never remember the names of the dang maps bit the one with all the ammo inside the cinderblocks is impossible with quadro to me but aside from that I been using it everytime. I wish it was a little smaller but shoot. I'm giving it a fair chance even though iv lost a few more than normal with it, i really want to get real good and make it the one i pound on you with...lol jist kidding take care tom

Yeah, you're playing well with it, Lex.  We've played about 3 times in the last hour and you're by far the best with the quadro I've played.  It does seem to be a plane that is good depending on the room, though, like you mentioned.  To be honest, in my mind my gauge of whether or not these new planes are too good or not was whether or not someone who likes the tiburon (or any particular plane, really) as much as you do switches to something new.  If/when there's switching going on amongst the longstanding players to different planes then something is off balance, I figure.

I'm still giving it a chance, and my observations are just preliminary, but it does seem reaalllly hard to hit.  OH!! And the other thing is that when it's hovering you can't tell if it's facing you or not.  I was going in after you or someone else using it in a wide open room like the training room thinking the best way to get the quadro would be to sneak up behind it as it hovers.  But you have no idea side you may be approaching and if it's the front a TON of missles are going to be coming straight at you in what was supposed to be a sneak attack . . . .

I've been sticking to Biplane. Fast and Strong.

But the Quadrocopter, I only played it a couple of times and I couldn't get the hang of it. One thing, I couldn't pick up the weapons fast enough. But I like it.

Tom u must have a new profile /name i don't remember seeing you, the main thing with of its facing you or not is to really hover at a standstill you have to point it down, so the lower end facing the ground is the front. As far as biplane its pretty good to, still a little slow for me and not unique enough but still cool

Yeah, I play under different names.  It's interesting what you see when people don't know who you are.  There are a couple guys in the top who get together and gang up on other players, I discovered.  They're both much, much too good to need to be doing that and they won't admit they're doing it, but I suppose it's fun.

I predict this new plane will dominate all others in no time.   My stats are way up after using this plane tonight.  It's a Tiburon killer!

You have more skills than me. I fly that thing right into bullets. My favorite is the bi-plane.

Broke my own high score with the quadro, this thing is great, man has anybody noticed how many firecrackers it holds, I got up to 80 then needed to use them so didn't get to see if it held more but man you can really put up a wall with that many of those suckers!
