Tabs do not appear in all Spaces screens
« on: February 03, 2011, 09:19:56 PM »
Hello there!

Just got TabMeister from App Store. Nice application. But I can only use the tabs in the Spaces screen where it was created... :-( How can I make them appear in all screens, just like a Dock?

I'm actually not sure what you mean.  I've never used Spaces - one of those OS X features I have no use for, so I'm not even sure how to test with that.

No use for Spaces?...

I use it every day, every minutes...

I open Applications in several Spaces screens to avoid multiple application windows on a single screen.

Just activate in the Preference Panel.

Tabmeister is of no use to me if I need to come back to in a dedicated Spaces screen to use the Tab... :-(

The Dock is available in all Spaces screens. So should be Tabmeister

It's probably safe to say that Tabmeister won't be supporting Space anytime soon.  I have no idea how Spaces works or if it's even possible to make Tabmeister work with it.  I guess I've never needed Spaces because I've got one of those giant 30" displays, so I don't have any problem getting everything on there without clutter ;)

i don't think u use spaces very well if u don't realize the feature i'm about to tell u is there.  ready for it?  in spaces preferences click the + and add TabMeister to the list, then select Space column dropdown 'Every Space'

then it appears on every space
